Last month, Freedom Boat Club Loch Lomond proudly welcomed a high-level delegation from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, led by Lieutenant Governor of the State of Oklahoma Mr Matt Pinnell, for a landmark day of business networking in Scotland, tourism, and international business collaboration in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs region.

Hosted by club founders Mike Lally and Ashlee Lally, the itinerary showcased Scotland’s world-class leisure assets—from a round of golf at one of the country’s most prestigious courses, to a tour of Stirling Castle, and a gourmet dinner with all the Scottish culinary must-haves at The Lodge on Loch Lomond. The pinnacle of the evening was a luxury powerboat cruise across Loch Lomond aboard one of Freedom Boat Club’s premium vessels.

The event brought together a distinguished group of global business directors, investors, local enterprises, and Chamber leaders, including Matt Pinnell, Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma; Sarah Short, Director of International Relations & Global Commerce at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce; Jerry Morris, Chief of Staff at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce; Lisa Pinnell, CEO and Founder of Binxy Baby; Bill Weathersby, Venture Capitalist; Lesley Ann Webb, Senior Business Manager at Go Radio; Debra Murphy, Managing Director of Algiz Ltd.; Stephen Kerr, Managing Director of Chace PR; Mary Ann Smith, President of the Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce; David Ferguson, CEO and Founder of Ferguson Whisky Ltd.; David and Kate Beaton, Directors of AIIR Environmental Ltd.; Alan Fraser, Board Member of Variety, the Children’s Charity GB; and David Leask, Reporter at The Times.

The visit highlighted the growing role of corporate boating in fostering international partnerships and economic development. With over 430+ global locations, Freedom Boat Club offers a unique platform for business leaders to engage clients, reward teams, and build relationships— out of the office and onto the water.
