Funding for Training and Apprenticeships
The Scottish Government is introducing the Employer Recruitment Incentive to help generate more training places and enable young people to move into long term sustainable employment.
This funding incentive is for young people facing specific barriers, and it will provide you
with £1,000 towards training a young person as a Modern Apprentice (MA) effective from 17th June 2010 onwards.
Financial contribution of 50% of the training costs to a maximum of £5000 to businesses to allow them to invest in learning and development of their staff (FTO - Flexible Training
Opportunities).
If you would like to register with us to take on a young person as an MA contact the Skills Development Scotland National Employer Helpline: 0800 783 6000.
